A single disciplinary offering cannot truly attend to wide-ranging and difficult problems. Interdisciplinarity seeks thorough, empathetic, and inclusive solutions that promote meaningful change, attend to social justice, pursue a progression towards equity, and encourage a cooperation of the economic, social, and natural worlds.
